Sat outside last Saturday for lunch and a few pints...beautiful day on Church Street. They have a great beer selection and it is probably the best people watching spot on Church Street. However, the service at this place is so slow so make sure you've packed your patience for your trip to Church Street Tavern.

With 15 taps and 15 bottles, a few of which (taps & bottles) rotate regularly, this yuppie/sports bar probably has downton Burlington's largest beer selection. This isn't saying much however as both bottles and taps are mainly macros, "big name" imports like Corona and Heineken, and fair-to-middlin' local stuff like Magic Hat, Otter Creek, and Long Trail, which brews the atrocious Church St. Tavern Ale especially for this place. Don't go for great beer; do go for good food and attentive service. My burger was not quite pink enough to be "medium rare" but was still very flavorfull, served on a faultlessly fresh bun, with excellent fries. The waitress seemed to appear every time I wanted her, without any effort on my part. Generic tavern memorabilia (beer signs & steins); bright and relatively un-smoky; good place to people-watch if you're in a table facing Church St.

Nice little pub menu, 14 taps including selections from Otter Creek, Long Trail, Catamount and Magic Hat.
